THE Tennant Creek Bushfire Brigade was presented with around $3,000 of emergency equipment from the local Sporties Club this week.
Volunteer Keven Stout thanked the club, with special mention to Teresa and Randall Gould, which raised the funds to help the brigade replace lost or damaged equipment during last year’s fire emergency in the Barkly.
Keven also gave his appreciation to the Tennant Creek Lions Club which also recently donated $2,000 to the volunteer organisation.
